Board of Directors

The UECC Board of DIrectors consists of 24 members whose terms of service shall be three years in duration. All Directors are members of the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center and are a diverse group, representing a cross-section of the membership of the UECC. They are capable, willing and sincere individuals possessing the skills necessary for the performance of the various activities required of the Board.

UECC Executive Committee

The work of the UECC Board of Directors is accomplished through work into five sectors. The Property and Building Sector is responsible for maintaining and improving our facilities. It divides its work into committees including: Utilization, Capital Projects, Planning, Long-Term Rental, Beautification and Maintenance/Building Operations. The Finance Sector is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Center. The Finance Sector is comprised of the following committees: Finance, Grant, Auditing, Annual Report and Budget. The Aministrative Sector oversees the management of the UECC, employee relations, information technology systems, governance (by-laws, annual membership meeting and elections) and arbitration of disputes. The Program Sector's responsibility is to sponsor, co-sponsor or support a variety of community events at the UECC. It has divided its task into Cultural/Heritage Events and Fundraising Events. The Marketing and Communication Sector provides overall direction of all communications to promote services, programs and events at the UECC and is comprised of the following committees: Marketing and Communications, Archives and Radio Program. Volunteers are also members of the committees in each sector, assisting board members in planning and executing new projects.
