About the Event
Inspired by Adrianna Tytla Henkels' charitable contributions to the UECC, this is a unique online experience allowing you to simultaneously support the Center and be rewarded for your generosity.
Adianna Tytla Henkels was born In New York City, 1966, to Ukrainian immigrant parents, she received her BFA from the University of the Arts and an Associate Degree in Graphic Arts from Moore College of Art both in Philadelphia. Adrianna subsequently pursued a career in graphic design and art direction. During this time, she began painting still life mostly in watercolor. She currently resides in West Mount Airy in Philadelphia with her family, and works from her home studio. She paints mostly in oils and acrylics, "plein air” or outdoors and prefers to paint "alla prima “or in one session. Her work has appeared in groups shows including the UNWLA (Ukrainian National Women's League of America) in New York and Philadelphia; Grazda Art and Music Center, NY; Ukrainian Museum, NYC; Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia; Wayne Art Center; Bjorn and Co. Art Gallery; and the Philadelphia Arts Crawl.
