The UECC Board of Directors consists of 18 individuals whose terms of service are three years in duration. All Directors are members of the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center and are a diverse group, representing a cross-section of the membership of the UECC. They are volunteers who are capable, willing and sincere individuals possessing the skills necessary for the performance of the various activities required of the Board. 

 

The work of the UECC Board of Directors is accomplished through work divided into six sectors:

• The Property and Building Sector is responsible for maintaining and improving our facilities.

• The Finance Sector is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the Center. 

• The Administrative Sector oversees the management of the UECC and employee relations.

• The Program Sector's responsibility is to sponsor, co-sponsor or support a variety of community events at the UECC; we call them either fund-raisers or friend-raisers.

• The Marketing and Communication Sector provides direction of all communications to promote services, programs and events at the UECC. 

• The Strategic Planning Sector coordinates priorities, focuses energy and resources, strengthens operations, and helps ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working towards common goals by setting a one year, five year and ten-year plan. 

 

Volunteers help round out the sectors by becoming members of the committees in each of the sector, assisting board members in planning and executing new projects.
